A look back at my year in travel. From watching the New Year of 2016 roll in on a Colombian beach in Santa Marta, to spending a cold night in Christmas-y Dublin and everything in between. Here's a review of my year in travel and a look back at 2016 for travelsandmore.

Something incredible happened this year. I hit the 27 countries mark, I have now visited 27 different countries on 4 continents. Here's a look back at my 2016 of travel.

A look back at 2016

It feels like my greatest achievement and my favorite subject will always be when anyone asks me about my adventures. This year I was lucky enough to visit 6 countries in total 4 of which in South America for over 3 months worth of travel. The other 2 countries I was able to visit were in Europe. This year I had the disappointment of being stood up for a trip to Belgium, something I had never experienced before.

I had the pleasure of visiting the capital of Bulgaria a city that completely surprised me and stole my heart. I was also able to visit Ireland and spent two days in Dublin a city that left me filing for bankruptcy but I can't help but smile whenever I think of Temple Barr. I thought I'd round up an incredible 2016 with a few photographs and a little taster of what's to come in 2017. Here's to another year of adventure and culture packed travel. Perhaps I'll even see you on the road?
